| Hawk Steel Industries does buy all ferrous and non-ferrous
material from sellers large and small. We do have some
requirements. |
• We do not buy radioactive
material.
|
• Cars have to have a title, no gas tank, no
mercury switches, and all fluids drained.
|
• Only four tires per car, gas tanks must be
removed, all fluids must be drained, and mercury switches
must be removed.
|
• The seller must have a valid Texas
driver’s license for ALL transactions
including ferrous, non-ferrous, and cars. |

| Our Buying Process On Site |
For ferrous and cars:
All material is weighed on the front (big) scale. The
seller goes to the appropriate area to dump the load
(if you don’t know where, just ask) and returns
to the front scale for a light weight. Pull off the
scale, park, and come to the pay-window to be payed
– please have your license with you. |

For Non-ferrous:
All material is weighed on the back scale. Your vehicle
description information will be recorded as well as
a copy of your driver’s license. Sellers come
to the front pay-window to be payed. |
